Fix a car for a hero program

In December of 2022, we were able to fix a total of 5 cars for Veterans living in Allen County at no cost to them. We provided over 29 hours of labor and over $2000 in parts. Thank you to our sponsors- AutoZone (Bellefontaine St, Lima, OH), Napa Auto Parts (Bellefontaine St, Lima, OH), Able Towing (State Rd, Lima, OH) and Kenny's Auto Wrecking (Findlay Rd, Lima, OH)!

2004 Buick Park Avenue belonging to a Vietnam War Veteran that served in the United States Air Force. We replaced the rear shocks and both front outer tie rod ends; repaired an air conditioning leak & recharged the system; and performed an oil change and an alignment.

2009 Chevrolet Impala belonging to a United States Marine Corp Veteran. We replaced an air door actuator, oxygen sensor, wheel bearing, canister vent valve, and two tire pressure sensors. We also performed an oil change.

2008 Dodge Caliber belonging to a Vietnam War Veteran that served in the United States Army. We replaced the oil pan gasket, oil pressure sensor, serpentine belt, and rear stabilizer rods. We also performed an oil change.

2002 Jeep Liberty belonging to a United States Army Veteran. We replaced an ignition coil, both front window regulator & motor assemblies, both hood lift supports, thermostat & coolant temperature sensor, both front upper control arms, and a PCV valve. We also performed an oil change.

2006 Dodge Dakota belonging to a United States Army Veteran that served in Syria. We replaced the front brake pads & rotors, rack & pinion, steering intermediate shaft, front driveshaft, oil pressure sensor, and both front outer tie rod ends. We also performed an alignment & oil change.
